Times were tough for the campaigning soldier in the 1860's. This 30 minute program focuses on the poor hygiene of the average soldier during the American Civil War and explores how this led to large casualty rates and widespread diseases. This program is free and open to the public. This program will be held at the Visitor Center. For more information, please call 770-427-4686, ext. 248.Â
